Dear Anne,

How have you been doing? What have you been up to? It's been a while, and I don't know where you are, but I miss you.

I miss how you picked me up, every day, and wrote about how your day went, all the little exciting things that happened while you were in the "Secret Annexe". And some invasion? I'm not sure what happened, but I know you suddenly disappeared. Where did you go? I wish you would come back. Random people have come and picked me up. None of them were you.

Anne, I miss everything about our time together. We seemed to have hours and hours together every day. Now, I don't feel your presence anymore.

Did you not like me? Did I do something wrong? What happened?

I hope you write back. You had always written to me, lines and lines, about everything. I hope you eventually read this, read how much I missed you, how much I wonder about where you are, where you went. I'm praying that you come back, but I know this isn't guaranteed. You were a great writer and took pride in your writing. I want to see the smile on your face as you shape your letters on my page. I know I am not a great writer like you, but I hope to be in your hands sometime soon.

Oh Anne, I would do anything to see you again, just once more would be enough.
Please, come back. I miss you so much.
